Australian uranium is now known to be the source of radioactivity contaminating large swathes of Japan in the wake of Fukushima.  Uranium mining is still banned in Queensland (under a Labor government).  However, uranium exploration is still going on.  Our government continues to profit from mining permits and allow mining companies to locate alleged uranium sources, despite a ban on mining it.  Should this continue?
