Nuclear Free Queensland (NFQ) is a joint initiative of QLD unions, civil society groups and environmental groups. NFQ was established to fill the gap in the public discourse.

• We believe that the nuclear cycle from uranium to power to weapons can never be sustainable.

• We observe that the nuclear industry continues to pollute and damage human life everywhere and that no solution has been found to safely store nuclear waste.

• We work to see the end of the industry in all its guises, but with a specific focus on stopping uranium mining in this state.
